Automated Financial Dashboards
What the programme actually covers
Most finance teams spend hours each week copying numbers between spreadsheets. This programme focuses on replacing that habit with connected data sources, live calculations, and charts that update on their own.
Sessions run in small groups, so questions get answered in context - not in a generic FAQ. Participants share real files, spot each other's logic errors, and leave with dashboards that work on their own data.
Running since 2019, the programme has been refined through feedback from participants across finance, operations, and consulting roles.
Six weeks, structured deliberately - each stage builds directly on the previous one so nothing feels disconnected.
How the six weeks are structured
Data audit and connection
Participants map their existing data sources - spreadsheets, exports, accounting software - and establish clean, reliable connections before building anything visual.
Logic and calculation layers
Formulas, lookups, and conditional rules are built in a way that survives real-world data - missing values, format inconsistencies, and month-end changes included.
Visual output and sharing
Charts and summary views are configured for the audience that will read them - not for the person who built them. Participants present their dashboards to the group for direct feedback.
Group format - what it changes in practice
Working alongside others who are at a similar stage changes how quickly things click. Problems that would take days to debug alone often get resolved in a single group call.
Peer review on real files
Each participant shares their actual work - not a sanitised demo. Others in the group review it and point out assumptions that the author couldn't see.
Facilitated problem-solving
Sessions are led by a facilitator who keeps discussion focused. When a question is too specific for the group, it gets addressed in a dedicated slot - not skipped.
Shared reference library
All templates, formulas, and worked examples from sessions are available to participants after the programme ends - organised by the topic they relate to.
Paced, not rushed
Six weeks gives enough time to apply each concept before the next session. There's no value in moving faster than participants can absorb.
